Dr Knottenbelt was both professional and friendly in his manner. This puts the patient at ease. He kept me informed as to what was going on with removing the lesions on my back and gave me follow up advice. One thing I did not ask was how long to keep the dressings on for and he omitted to tell me, perhaps because it was of no great consequence. Also I did not ask if I should replace the dressings myself. Common sense will dictate, no doubt.

Both nurse and doctor were pleasant and professional. They chatted through the procedure and I felt comfortable at all times. I enjoyed the jokes and felt treated like an adult. I felt that the doctor and nurse had a sense of what kind of patient I was very quickly and then acted appropriately. The sebaceous cyst was removed intact, which is probably a little tricky to achieve, and this should prevent it coming back. The manner of doctor and nurse was great and the minor surgery was completed properly. I am a very happy customer

Following my visit to Dr Knottenbelt in clinic at Charing I’m more than happy to write a review ... what an amazing gentleman he is he took the time without rushing to explain everything in detail to me what will happen next through to the removal of my lipoma, he answered my questions clearly and totally put my mind at rest. If anyone is offered the chance to choose a consultant at Charing surgery I throughly recommend Dr Knottenbelt

10.09.18 I was told by a receptionist Dr Richard Knottenbelt would ring on Monday afternoon and he did. He was, very kindly, able to fit me in later the same day. Dr Knottenbelt is a very kind caring doctor. When one is elderly, as I am, sometimes one feels a bit of a nuisance but he listened to me, he treated my leg, gave me advice and said I could come back when necessary.
